Omerianism
One of the "Tapplis" category of magics;
At the individual level, Omerianism is the exploitation of tendencies of the soul sea to create effects in the very state of an object. It is the kind of magic that takes the longest time. On an individual scale it might keep a sword from going dull in the hands of one who believes it can't. On mass scales it led to the creation of "deepwood", a tree species who's wood is as hard as reinforced steel. But it's also the reason it's so easy for the Avianosi Focus to be made 'Servitude'.
A short term practitioner of Omerianism is typically called a "Convincer"
A long term practition of Omerianism is sometimes called a "Zealot"
Mechanics
Each effect has an extended DC and Delay. Each check is opposed by the target objects Resistance roll. The amount your check exceeds is deducted from the effective DC(negative values do not heal the DC). Once the effective DC equals or is less than 0, the effect occurs. The delay is how long each check attempt takes.

Special Rules
Unless an Omerianism effect states it has some obvious effect or nature such as emitting light or being particularly hot or cold, it is not immediately obvious when an item is affected by that Omerianism effect.
Unless an Omerianism effect states otherwise, it cannot be used to improve or augment an animal or creature.
Omerianism cannot be used to improve items affected or improved by other magic skills.
A person can maintain progress toward multiple different Omerianism effects at once, however these must all be tracked separately and progress must be attempted for each, at the end of every delay period.

The most common tools for omerianism checks are tomes of lies(d4, TDC 25), religious symbols(d4, TDC 5), and diamond and deepwood lenses(d6, TDC 30)

Tier 1
- Gardening[You can use Omerianism on plants.]
- Gradual reinforcement[Select one weapon you own, every time that weapon survives a sunder attempt, it gains a cumulative +1 aid bonus on future defence rolls against Sunder]
- Omendingism[You may use Omerianism to attempt to repair objects]
- Part of me[When you roll maximum on an effect that enhances your tool, you gain specialty in that tool for as long as the effect lasts]
- Perfect Shield[Select one shield you own, every time that shield survives a sunder attempt, it gains a cumulative +1 aid bonus on future defence rolls against Sunder.]
- Sense Improvement[You know when something has been affected by someone elses Omerianism]
- Speed of belief[When you roll maximum on an Omerianism check, the delay duration before you can attempt the next check is halved.]
Tier 2
- Believe it's done[If you successfully convince someone that an Omerianism effect you're actively working on is already completed, that creature's belief aids you on all future Omerianism checks to complete that effect.]
- Driven by culture[You treat Omerianism tools as tools for your Species skill.]
- Force more[When using a magic item that can only be used once per day, you may spend momentum to use its ability additional times.]
- Homeward[You may use Omerianism effects to affect an entire building, though the extended DC is 5 times normal.]
- Husbandry[You can use Omerianism on domesticated animals.]
- Omerian in self[Select one tag that appears in Omerianism effects. You add your Omerianism modifier to the progress toward effects of that kind when holding an item. This does not grant effects that are not currently in creation on an item.]
- Whettouch[When you are not carrying an active omerianism effect, you may spend 1 momentum as an attack action to improve the die step of one tool within your reach for a number of rounds equal to your tier.]
Tier 3
- Held together(Perfect Shield, Gradual reinforcement)[When you wield your perfect shield and gradual reinforcement weapon at the same time, their aid bonus' against sunder stack with each other.]
- Ironwood Forest(Gardening)[You treat Ironwood forests or plantations as d6 tools for Omerianism.]
- Passive progress[You may spend 2 momentum to 'slot' an in-progress omerianism effect into this ability. While in this ability you automatically make progress as if you had rolled a 4 each day that you don't otherwise attempt a check toward creating the effect. On completion the effect is removed from this ability and another can be 'slotted'.]
- Rip out(Sense Improvement)[When you encounter an object improved by Omerianism, you may spend 2 momentum to attempt an Omerianism check against the creator's Omerianism defence. On success; the effect is removed for the scene.]
- Sharpen All(Whettouch)[You may spend any number of addiitonal momentum to use whettouch on an additional tool.]
- Sunderback!(Gradual Reinforcement)[When someone attempts to sunder the weapon you selected with Gradual Reinforcement and fails; You may attempt to sunder their weapon back.]
- Trapped Soul[You can attempt to disarm magical traps]{TAMPERING}
Tier 4
- Blessing of the mind(Gradual Improvement)[When using the weapon you selected with Gradual Improvement to defend against a sunder and you fail, you may spend 1 momentum to reroll, or 3 momentum to automatically succeed.]
- Farming(Husbandry)[You can use Omerianism on wild animals.]

- Soulbound reinforcement[Treat your light armour as 1 step higher on turns you don’t otherwise use Omerianism]{LIGHT ARMOUR}
- Gemward breaker[You can affect Uolune items with Omerianism effects, though you cannot benefit from tool dice to do so.]

- Font of power(Omerian in Self)[Select one omerianism effect with a DC lower than 5+ your omerianism modifier. When holding items that can be subject to that effect, the effect exists on that item.]
Effects
Aguibah touched[eDC 11xTrade DC, Delay 1 day]: Turn the water in a barrel into a permanent ice sculpture of an item. This ice sculpture counts as cold iron but lacks any tool die on defence against sunder attempts from fire damage.
Flexwood[eDC 38, Delay 1 day]: The wooden object becomes far more flexible and malliable. Wood normally suitable for bows becomes suitable for armor, wood normally not flexible enough for bows becomes suitable for bows.
Ironwood[eDC 50, Delay 1 day]: The object gains a bonus on defences against any form of damage equal to your Tier. This only works on objects and only the highest Omerianism tier counts.
Mold stone[eDC 55, Delay 1 hour]: A stone object up to 1 hex per tier, can be molded into another shape. Specific shapes and complex designs may also require Artistry or a similar skill check.
Noccolara[eDC 46, Delay 1 hour]: You change the colour and texture of the object's surface. Can only be used for large sections and does not make fine detail.
